New Developments...

Hey Guys,

Well I did my first show in several years. It was a charity art show. Not much to report yet it was great to play out again. I will be putting together some new mixes so stay tuned. Mixcloud (http://www.mixcloud.com/gwilcoxson/) will be my new source to listen to future mixes.  It was nice to take some time off yet I am ready to get back to work.

I am retired from music!

Aloha,

What a great run! I thoroughly enjoyed DJing in the public, producing mixes and making new friends. I want to say thank you to all the people who supported me, taught me about DJing and provided feedback over the past 3 years.

Along with rock bands, a successful live pa (Mint) and DJing I have been seriously involved in making/playing music for over 16 years. My desire now is to devote more time to my family, career, ministry and other hobbies.

I would like to thank my new friend Laszlo for arranging the DJ slot. I DJ'd Thrusday August 9th at the Green Cafe in Sopron, Hungary. It was a fun time.

Sorry for the delay. This mix is hands down the best I have ever done in regards to mixing and transitions. I really brought my A game and I give all the glory to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. It is surprising how mixes turn out when forced with a short timetable for This Week at Beatport.

This weekend I am playing for Pete's (TWBP owner) birthday party that happens to be 7-7-07. I am excited and hope I do well. I am also doing a sort of "Best of This Week at Beatport" mix. This mix will be made up of tracks I played on the past six mixes. I will podcast the "Best of" mix in several weeks. If you can't wait, it should be available sometime next week on www.thisweekatbeatport.com.
